It was a few days after Aidan's "date" with Christian. Aidan was spending more time playing, trying to get more money for the new guitar. The talk he had with Christian gave him hope. Not only for starting something big, playing together. He was also feeling more confident though he was still hiding behind his glasses most of the time. Like today. With that went a jacket and his favorite scarf.
Hands in his pockets he was wandering down the corridors with a hot sandwich in his hands, until he reached the dancers practice room. The door was opened so he stopped for a moment. Lured by the music he leaned against the door frame eating his sandwich

Adia stood staring at her hideous reflection in the large mirror that lined the walls, her fingers gripping the bars some of the other dancers used for ballet. Today was her first real day of practice, only she hadn't a clue as to what to do. She had never done this before and Tait's were known for their two left feet when it came to dancing. Maybe she was getting way too over her head here.
"Come on Addy. Stop thinking so much, you can do this.." She said to herself, pausing once she noticed the reflection of the man standing in the doorway behind her. Her eyes narrowed. "It's not polite to stare, you know" She hissed, whipping around to face him sharply. "What do you want?"

Aidan was looing at the girl both in admiration at her perfect body and curiosity. She looked strangely familiar though Aidan couldn't remember where he could know her from. He an was so lost staring at the girl he didn't notice when she turned around. Until he heard her voice. Caught by surprise he started choking on his sandwich. Waving an apology with his hand.
Finally he stopped coughing and regained his composure. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to...the music...?" He was babbling again fixing his jacket with one hand, the other pushing the glasses up his nose

Adia placed her hand on her hips, tapping her bare foot against the floor impatiently as she waited out his choking spree. "The music, huh?" She questioned, rolling her eyes in disbelief. It was just a stupid recording of her brother playing piano, something she often used while she had been away to calm her nerves. It wasn't anything particularly worth listening to, not by strangers to say the least. "I've heard better lies. You've come to watch me fall flat on my face.." She shook her head. "Who are you?"

"Aidan, Aidan Kinney" He answered bright red. "And I didn't come here to watch you fall flat on your face. I don't care about your face" He said proudly and then realized it was rather rude so he bit his lip. "I mean...sorry" And then it hit him. He remembered where he knew the melody and the face from. "Christian! The music! It'sChristian. You're Christian...I mean you're not but..."

Adia's eyes widened in horror and the breath caught in her throat as he made the comment about her face. Just great, that's exactly what you are supposed to say to a young anorectic girl who was insecure about her body. Her hand shot up to touch her cheek and then her nose, trying to find her problem area. Maybe it was her chin? Her hand slid along the underside. "I'm not Christian.." She replied weakly. No, Chris never had these problems. He was already perfect.

"but you look like him" Aidan blurted out. "You're his sister, right?" He asked taking a step forward. He could see the way she checked her face. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you" He said chewing on his bottom lip nervously. "I was just very surprised"

"Of course I look like him, I'm his twin. There is obviously going to be some sort of resemblance.." Adia replied sarcastically. She wouldn't accept his apology, never. He had known her for a total of two minutes and he had already managed to make the top of her hit list. "You must be another one of the members of the Christian Tait fan club? I'm not surprised. Has he managed to lure you into bed yet?"

Her words brought a small frown to Aidan's forehead joined by another wave of blush. This time even his ears turned red. Lured to bed? Yeah, right. "Yeah right" He repeated his thoughts. "Like he has nothing better to do than luring me to bed" He snorted. Alright, so he offended her but that didn't mean she had to offend him. Maybe he wasn't pretty but that didn't mean he was an easy target. "Christian and I were wotking on a song a few days ago. That's why I know his music"

"So he hasn't managed it yet?" Adia asked, arching her eyebrow amused. That wasn't like her brother. Sometimes she believed that he had some personal goal to shag every one he meets. "Yeah..working on a song together..right. If he hasn't tried yet it means he's bidding his time which also means that he likes you a lot. Either way your screwed" She laughed. God, she was harsh. But he started it. She sat down on the floor next to her CD player, keeping her long legs out in front of her to do a few arm stretches. "Anyways..If you see Chris, don't tell him I'm here. I plan on surprising him later"

Her words really hurt him, cutting like razors through his naive soul. So Christian was spending his time with him just to lure him to bed like many others before and after him? And he wasn't going to work with Aidan on any songs? Plan anything bigger? He was just a toy. "you're a very cruel person" He said quietly turning his face away so she wouldn't see the hurt in his eyes. "Very pretty but very cruel" For the first time he'd thought someone liked him..and she had to poke his dream bubble

Life was cruel, so why should she treat him any different. Although her heart melted the moment she noticed the reflection in the mirror of the hurt look in the man's eyes. She turned back towards him, her face soft. "You like my brother, don't you? I can see it in your eyes..the way you acted when you figured out I'm his sister. He does make exceptions for people sometimes..the ones he really likes.." She paused. "Do you really think I'm pretty?"

Aidan shrugged blinking fast a few times, still not looking at her. The pain reached too deep. His eyes shone dangerously hurting his pride at the same time. Don't bother. You already said the truth" He sighed. "He was the first person who seemed to like me...at least I thought he was. Well, thanks for making it clear to me" to remind me what I dared to forget. When he thought it was safe to look back at her he turned his head. "I think you're beautiful but I'm sure you hear it all the time"

"No.." Adia shook her head. "I don't hear it. Who in their right mind would think that I'm beautiful? Look at me.." She looked down at herself in disgust. It wasn't the truth really, people told her that all the time. She just refused to believe everything she heard. "How do you know what I said is the truth? I haven't seen my brother in months. I don't know what's going on in his life these days. Plus you called me ugly..I have to snap back" She didn't need her brother angry with her already.

"Everyone??" Aidan was surprised. She was making fun of him, he thought. She had to hear it every day. It wasn't nice to make fun of him. Aidan wasn't sure he liked Christian's sister. "You know him better than I. You've known him all your life and I apparently dont' know him at all" He sighed digging hands into the pockets of his jacket.
