"Yeah, I love them. How could you not? I created them, I have to love them. To be honest..I never planned on having children. Ever. It was always Chris's dream, not mine. But things happen you know, I had no control over it" Adia admitted quietly. She continued to tease him, running her thumb across his other rosy cheek for a minute before dropping her hand back into her lap. "One with me dancing? Ha, you obviously haven't seen me dance before" She laughed. "Should I wear a tutu and go for the whole prima ballerina idea?"

"Sadly not all parents feel the same way about their children" Aidan sighed softly. Again they mentioned that. Both Chris and Adia. "They are lucky to have a mother like you." He lowered his head. Why couldn't he have someone who'd love him. Just him. Just the way he was. Someone he could go to instead of running from when he had a problem.
"don't worry. I'm going to take pictures not film it. So you'll just have to make a few graceful poses in this classroom"

"You sound like you have unresolved issues with your own parents?" Adia stated, looking over at him curiously. "Everyone has them. I never got along well with mine either. They loved me..but I'm their second favorite child. There's only two of us.." She sometimes blamed her parents for the problems she had today. If they had given her some attention when she was younger she wouldn't try to find it with strange guys who didn't care about her nor starve herself to try to appear to be beautiful and perfect.

Aidan snorted suddenly turning bitter. "Unresolved issues. It's a nice way to put it" He said involuntarly curling his fingers around his calf. It's been two years since the last time his father hit him but he could still remember it. Especially on rainy days when all the broken bones would hurt. "Between me and my two sisters I'm the least favorite child" A punching bag and the one to blame rather

Adia quickly looked away from him, hugging her knees tightly to her chest and rocking some. She didn't like the bitter tone he held in his voice, it made her feel guilty for having less fcuked up parents than he had. She shouldn't have said anything about it at all. "We have something in common then, Aidan. We've both been outshined by our siblings"

Aidan shrugged and smiled despite the pain the memories caused. "But it didn't stop us from growing to be as amazing as we are" he said. He didn't feel amazing but he knew he could have end up worse. With the way his father treated him he could end up following his footsteps or be in a jail by now

"I'm not that amazing Aidan.." Adia replied, keeping her eyes on her reflection in the mirror. That was her biggest problem, the image she had of herself. Everyone else might see how great she really was but she saw something completely different when she looked at herself. Something hideous. "I'm sure you are more amazing than I am"

"How do you know that?" Aidan said shaking his head. She was so stubborn. "you barely know me" Like anyone else. Though she at least took time to talk to him. Both twins were strange. They were wasting their time on him. But Aidan didn't mind it. He was happy to know people who wanted to talk to him. His thoughts involuntarly wandered to Christian and he sighed

"And you barely know me. So how can you honestly make that assumption either?" Adia snapped back at him, giving him a weak smile to show that she wasn't necessarily angry. She scooted back to him, resting her head on his shoulder like she had before in a sigh. "Can we be friends though Aidan? I don't have any here yet. I want to know you"

"I still think I know more about you than you know about me" Aidan answered casually. "Besides I wasn't assuming. I just stated the obvious. You're here. You're not in jail, nor in any other bad place. You came here to study and you're a good mother. So..." He shrugged. But when she sat next to him resting head on his shoulder he blushed again. "I think we can...I mean...you really want to be friends with me?"

"I left my children to come study for all the wrong reasons. Just because I missed my brother. I'm not that good of a mother" Adia argued. It was easier to put down yourself than to accept a compliment. She traced his blushing cheek again. "Yes..I want to. You are really nice..other than calling me ugly..and you listen.."

"But that doesn't mean you don't love them. And you don't hurt them" Aidan said involuntarly. He couldn't help it. He blushed again when she touched his cheek. It was ridiculous. Why did he have to be so shy. Why couldn't he be like other guys? HE hated that. "I don't know why...and...well....I think you're the first girl besides my sisters to even talk to me"

Adia lifted her head from his shoulder, grinning as she gave his cheek a little pinch. He was just plain adorable, there were no other words to describe him. She liked the whole innocent factor about him, it was rare in the guys that she knew. "Surely that can't be true?" She giggled.

"Surely it can be" Aidan sighed and nodded. "I mean talk...like talk talk, not just say things like 'dream on' or 'you're kidding, right?'"Or other things. At some point he even stopped trying to talk to them. It'd end up the same way anyway. They'd laugh at him, tease, have fun, talk to her friends about this naive geek who was trying to talk to them

"Girls like that are stuck up bitches that you shouldn't waste your time on. They'll never amount to anything anyways" Adia rolled her eyes. She'd never let somebody push her around like that and if they tried they'd get a nice fist to the face. "You aren't no Brad Pitt, Aidan. But I'd date you..It's personality that you got"
