Advice, that was a tough one. Christian wasn't much of a teacher, although if he tried it would be good practice for when he went to teach Brooke in a couple of years. "Umm..I don't know.." Christian mumbled, scratching at the side of his head. "Maybe you should show me what you can do and then we'll go from there?"

"okay but please don't laugh" Aidan said unwrapping his arms from around Christian and taking a step back. He wasn't too sure Chris wouldn't laugh. Actually he expected a burst out. He ducked and then started swimming, which actually looked like splashing. Aidan was moving very slowly but was making a lot of mess around him. His eyes were closed and there was a grimace on his face

Christian threw his arms up to cover his face, shielding himself from the tremendous splash caused by his boyfriend. He bit down on his bottom lip to keep from laughing, there had to be one promise that he was able to keep. "Right..umm..wow.." He coughed, grabbing Aidan's ankle to stop him from getting too far. "Why don't you try not using your arms so much? Slower maybe..and straighter..umm..wow"

Aidan bit at his bottom lip abain blushing. "I'm terrible at it" He grimaced blushing more. Slower? And straighter? But how? wouldn't he go down under water this way? "Okay....slower...I'll try" Wow. He could see Christian was trying not to laugh. He wouldn't actually blame him if he did but the fact he didn't made him feel warm inside. He tried again remembering what Chris said, trying to move his arms according to his instructions. Somehow he managed to make less mess

Christian shook his head in disagreement, pulling him towards him to press a quick kiss to that blush he loved so much. Despite his new found fear he couldn't go on without smothering that red face in kisses. "You aren't terrible, don't say that. Everyone sucks at it in the beginning.." He reassured. "Addy thinks I swim like a frog if that makes you feel any better. Nobody is perfect.."

Aidan melted under Christian's soft kisses. It felt so natural. Just like before. He got up again smiling as Chris was trying to make him fel better. He even chuckled at the frog. "Show me" He said. "I want to see how you move your arms. Maybe that will geve me a hint of what to do"

Christian went red at the request. Show him? It was one thing to make fun of yourself but it was another to set yourself up for others to do the same. Then again he had embarrassed Aidan several times without giving anything in return. He nodded, letting go of his boyfriend to kick up off of the ground to head towards the deeper area. There was no point in doing this to help him, his arms and legs never came up from under water as he swam.

Maybe someone else would laugh but Aidan was in awe. He watched Christian move smoothly in the water. His arms and legs didn't even leave the water and yet he was able to not only keep his head above the surface but also move and he didn't seem to have problems with it. "How...how do you do this?" Aidan finally asked still looking him with delight. "you were moving smoothly"

Christian stopped, standing on his very tip toes to turn back around to face him. "I don't know.."He shrugged. "I guess I just instead of moving my arms and legs up and down I move the side to side..It's the only way I know how..you can try I suppose. Swim to me.."

Aidan tried moving his arms in the air first to show Chris if it was the right way. It took him a while to catch the right movement. Finally a little hesitant he decided to try. At first his face was going under water but he soon noticed that it he moved his arms a little diagonally he'd be able to keep his head up. Slower than Chris and moe nervously but still swimming he managed to get to his boyfriend

Christian caught him, sliding his arms under his knees to hold him "bride" style in both arms. His head barely staying above the water. "That was..better..see, it's not that hard" He grinned. "The only critique I have is that you should speed up some if you know that you are about to go under. I don't want you drowning.."

Aidan let Christian hold him panting llightly as it needed more efford from him than Chris. He took a few seconds to rest before grinning at his boyfriend widely. "Alright" He nodded. "I promise not to drawn" He wanted to add something about Chris performing CPR on him but decided not to. So far the comments like that never brought them any good

Aidan was right in holding back that particular comment. He wouldn't be able to handle them while he still felt so guilty. He set him back down on his feet which didn't do them both very good since Chris could barely reach the bottom himself. "Thank you. I don't need one more thing that I've got to worry about.."

A little taller than Christian Aidan was able to stand without any problems and also wrapped one arm around Chris for support. "Don't worry. Soon I'll be swimming like a fish" He grinned. "I need to be a good swimmer so when we start teaching Brooke I'll be able to help you instead of being a burden"

Christian breathed a sigh of relief, one arm working its way back around Aidan's middle. He was planning on staying with him until it came time to teach Brooklyn. That was another couple of years from now. If only he could manage to not do anything stupid to help that promise come true.
