Graham nodded his thanks, finishing his drink. "Thanks. I've got the music in my head, you know, but I can't really write it. I'm better with the beat." He tapped some of it on the table, voice soft as he sang the first verse. "I've always wanted to be in a band. It took me so long to pay to get here. It's hard, because we're not very rich. I work so hard every week just to be here, and with Juli...Sometimes I wonder if I should just leave."

Aidan nodded. "I know what you mean" He murmured twirling the wine in this glass. "I have to play on the streets and in the places like this every day to be able to get enough money. My family won't help me" His voice went quiet and slightly bitter. "And the schedule doesn't allow me to get a stable job cause I wouldn't be able to get more than two hours break between the classes. And playing in bars is still more profitable than bussing the tables"

He nodded again. "I know what you mean. I have some ways of making money, but they're not very...well, they're not exactly legal." Gray gave him a little smile, ordering another drink as the waiter passed their table. He felt like getting riproaring drunk and forgetting about all the bad things. "And now...I'm writing, I'm playing, but there's no heart anymore. I like him, and I can't stand being around him. I just...I want to leave."

"And does he know that?" Aidan asked wondering what the hell the other was talking about. He didn't know much about relationships. Actually he knew nothing. He didn't even have a good example at home. He couldn't be helpful in anything that wasn't music. He downed his wine and ordered another glass.

Graham shook his head. "It's...been complicated. We used to like each other, had two drunk one-night-stands...and then Tony fcuked everything up. He had this..proposition. That he'd stay away from my sister if I stayed away from Juli. Stupid, I know, but I agreed to it. She's my baby, you know? I can't let anyone hurt her. Especially not someone like him...Only now I don't know what to do. Juli hates me." And he was right. He'd been such an idiot.

"Oh" Aidan nodded with a rather stupid look on his pretty face. "I...can't be really helpful. I know nothing about relationships" He sighed and nodded his thanks at the waiter as he got another glass of wine. This time it was heated with spice. He played with a small stick he got with it spinning the wine

"I don't either. I've never been with someone. I figured out I was gay when I was about thirteen. Just...never felt comfortable enough to get out of the closet and start dating someone." He had wanted to date Juli, he really had. But he wasn't allowed to. He wasn't allowed to be in love with him anymore. But he still was. Head over heels in love with him.

"Well at least you kissed. And had two one-night-stands" Aidan said quoting Graham. "I on the other hand am green as the first spring onion." He was drunk enough to admit it. Besides he didn't have to hide it. It was very obvious. So far the only kissing experience he had was with his pillow. Apparently music was for him, not love. After all you can't have everything

"Are you serious? You've never been kissed? A hottie like you?" Okay, Graham was definitely drunk enough to flirt with him, even if it was maybe a wrong thing to do. He couldn't really help it though. He thought Aidan was very attractive, and wanted the singer to feel that way about himself. Flirting was innocent that way. It didn't mean he wanted to pounce him. Though he'd be very honored to give him his first kiss.

Aidan shrugged. "I think you're drink if you call me a hottie" He said honestly pushing his glasses up. So far when girls were telling him he was hot it was just to make fun of him. Usually it was a part of some nasty prank planned with jocks to laugh at the nerd he was. Even Aidan didn't think of himself that way

"Hey, I wasn't drunk when I bought you that drink. Okay, so maybe flirting isn't really my strong point, but you're very attractive Aidan." Graham gave him a friendly smile. "The glasses make you look so damn cute. And I like your eyes. I do." He shook his head a bit, taking another sip from his drink. "So yeah, if you think I'm only saying that because I'm drunk..I promise I'm not. The alcohol just makes me loose-lipped enough to say it."

"Yeha, right" Aidan nodded doubtfully. "I think you're very drunk. I've never been attractive or cute." He shook head. People should stop making fun of him. Really. It was getting annoying. "Besides you miss Juli. He's the one who should be addressed these words. Not me." He smiled softly. "you should tell him that. Explain it to him"

Graham shook his head, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from Aidans forehead. "I'm not making fun of you, and I'm not wishing I was here with Juli. Me and him...it's done. I might still have feelings for him, but that doesn't mean I'm just trying to chat you up to forget about him." He leaned in a bit, smiling at him. "I would prove to you that you're attractive but I think you'd throw that red wine in my face and that would be a waste."

Aidan chuckled. If he knew what Gray meant he probably would. He definitely would. Especially that he didn't believe all this talk about him and Juli being done. "It's done, huh? Then why do you keep talking about him?" He asked smirking. "Do you know how many times our conversation turned back to Juli?" He didn't mind. he just wasn't going to believe it was over

Graham was quiet for a moment. "What do you want me to say, Dan? I care about him. He was the first person I've ever been intimate with. And yeah, I wish that things had worked out, but they didn't. What am I supposed to do? Sit around and wait for him to realize what he missed out on? What good will that do me? I'll only end up alone and miserable."
