A faint blush made it up to her cheeks, he had a crush on her? “Really?” she was a bit surprised with that, to be honest she had expected him to say something that resembled, ‘I like you a lot but not in the way you like me.’ Yet, he hadn’t declared his love for her –which she doubted he ever did, love her or be in love with her even- but he had just said he was crushing on her. “You can change, if you want to.” If he wanted to, try and be different. For her.

"It's not about what I want, Mack." He took her hand again, brushing his thumb over her knuckles. "If you want to give it a try then I won't stop you. Just...know that there's a big chance that I'll fcuk it up. I'll try not to, of course, but it's -me- we're talking about. Change doesn't happen that easily." But the last thing he wanted was to hurt her, which was why it was such a good thing that he wasn't dating anyone.

He liked her, he was crushing on her but he wouldn’t stop her if she wanted to give it a shot? Did he actually want this? Or was he just giving it a shot cause she wanted to? Did that make any sense? She shook her head, “No…no..” whispering the words softly while pulling her hand back. “You won’t stop me? Tony if you don’t want me or this baby just say so…don’t dance around it and try to make yourself look like you will fcuk things over eventually.” That really wasn’t fair.

"I want you. Okay? I want you." There, he'd said it. He just hoped that she understood it wasn't just physical. He liked her. He wanted her, wanted to be with her, but he would understand if he wasn't allowed, if she didn't want to take that risk. "And the baby...I don't know, babe. I just...I don't. I need time to think about things. But if you want a chance, if you think that you can handle being with me..."

Reese wasn’t sure how things with the baby would go. Christian had thought she had wanted to abort it and had freaked out. Which had made her realize that abortion really wasn’t an option, although she definitely had not been planning on killing her own baby. Still, she had no clue what to do and Tony wasn’t too happy about it either. To have a little Tony or Reese running around in the future.

“Yeah…but it’s your chance Tony.“ If he really wanted to be with her he had to change. Period. She nodded, understanding that he needed time to let the idea of a baby sink in. Reese had known for a little over a week now so for her the shock of it had passed, it was either accepting it, or not accepting it at this point. For now, that was alright but eventually both her and Tony needed to tell each other what they wanted. And that was also something that scared her.

"I know it's my chance. I know. I just...Reese, I don't want to hurt you, okay? Out of all the girls here that I've been with, out of all the people I've slept with-" Because there were at least as many men as there had been women. "You are the only one I don't want to hurt. I can try, but I can't promise you that things will be okay. That they will be easy." They wouldn't be if he knew himself.

For the very first time in her life Reese was actually insecure about what to do right now in the presence of a guy. Usually she just did what she wanted to do but right now she wasn’t sure if crawling into Tony’s arms was a good thing to do. She was an insecure girl when it came down to her looks and the way people felt about her, when it came down to love. Reese was good at playing cause that did not mean anything but as soon as things got more serious she got insecure.

“I don’t expect them to be but just be honest.” The idea of him cheating on her hurt and she knew she should not allow him to do such a thing. Or to do any other thing that would cause her pain but she was in love with him. She couldn’t back out cause he said he couldn’t promise her everything would be okay. Maybe that was weak and there would be people who would not understand it but she couldn’t help it. Her heart wanted Tony and the baby inside of her was Tony’s. In a way her body screamed to be with him, how could you not act upon that? “…if being with you hurts than I’d rather be with you cause if I’m not it hurts just the same.”
