"But you want to know? Curiosity isn't a sin Aidan. I'll tell you.." Christian shrugged, pulling out a baby wipe from his pockets to clean up the little mess he had in his arms. Didn't he just have everything handy in his pockets these days? "Her mother is..actually I have no clue where she is. She's a barely fifteen year old little slut that tried to take my daughter away from me..enough said really"

"Oh" That was a rather silly reaction but Aidan had no idea what to say. He didn't actually explect such honesty from the other man. From anyone actually. After all they've just met. "In that case I'm glad the girl is with you" He smiled. "Especially that it's obvious she'd not your burden but your joy"

"You would really call a baby a burden? Look at her!" Christian ordered, holding Brooklyn up until she was only a few inches away from Aidan's face. "Even if you had some doubts while the pregnancy, one look at the life you created and all those doubts and insecurities disappear. One look and you fall in love. Could you resist this face? No..you couldn't"

Aidan had to smile when looking at the baby though his smile wasn't free from pain. "Well, not everyone feels the same way about their babies" He said with a hint of bitterness. one look and you fall in love? In that case his parents must have never looked at him because they could definitely resist his face. Actually they tried not to see it at all

Brooklyn stuck out her bottom lip in a pout as Aidan smiled at her, like she knew that there was something missing from it that Christian could not see. "Everyone might not feel the same way but thats how I feel. People should start taking a leaf out of my book once in a while.." He nodded firmly.

"Yeah, they definitely should" Aidan said absently sighing. He reached out and touched the tiny nose wondering if it would grow to the size of Christian's in the future. For the sake of this baby he hoped not. She was a girl after all. "She's a lucky girl" He said finally. She had a great father and apparently great grandparents too. She definitely was lucky

"Yeah. She is lucky" Christian agreed, wrapping the blanket back around her as she let out a soft yawn. "But right now, this lucky one needs a nap. So I'll see you this Friday then? Here.." He paused, pulling out a pen to write the digits of his cell phone number on the back of Aidan's hand before standing up to leave. "Call me.."

Aidan nodded surprised when Christian wrote his own phone number on the back of Aidan's hand. "Alright. This friday" He smiled "Bye bye Brooklyn" He waved at the baby. "Be a good girl" She would be. And even if she wasn't Christian would love her anyway. She was lucky to have someone who loved her and at such a young age. "Later" He smiled at Chris
