"I'm cute...I see" Aidan nodded slowly feeling a little less secure. But he figured the man wouldn't make a move with the baby. He was surprised when the girl pulled his finger to her mouth and sucked on it but he wasn't angry. Actually he smiled finding it adorable but pulled his hand back nonetheless. "it's okay...but my hands are dirty. You know...guitar, money" he kept analysing the other man's words. Two is netter than one. He was either hitting on Aidan or offering a cooperation.

Brooklyn let out a soft cry as her chew toy was taken away from her but stopped instantly as Chris held out a red lolly from out of his pocket for her to take. He could handle the stickiness as long as he didn't have to endure her cry. "I think she likes you Kinney.." He cooed.

Aidan smiled shyly. It wasn't difficult for a baby to like him. It was easy to woo a baby. It was always difficult with adults. He tried with a few girls but it didn't work. Maybe it was his skinny body, maybe his glasses, maybe something else. He was a geek. A geek with a guitar. "Sadly she's the only one" Aidan answered

"Now I don't believe that. Everyone has admirers, you just have to open your eyes and look for them. You are different. A lot of people like different.." Christian shrugged, nudging him gently in the side with his elbow. "But what do I know? I'm just some annoying stranger that just let my kid slobber all over your hand"

Those words finally broke Aidan's walls and he laughed out loud. It was a free and happy laugher. "I have to admit you were annoying at first. But I think I got used to it. And...you're right. I'm different. And people like different. But not different the way I am I think" He grimaced putting his guitar aside and picking his hat from the ground. He smiled seeing a few coins inside. He didn't put the hat there to get money this time. He just threw it on the ground. The wind must have turned in upside down.

Finally he got some kind of emotion of the man. He had been beginning to think that the other was incapable of doing so. "Yeah, I know. I can be that way sometimes. My mother used to think I had ADD, but I don't think so. I just happen to speak whats on my mind..whatever it may be.." He laughed. "I like different. And see, I was right. You are a good musician" Chris pointed out, dropping what change he had in his pocket into the hat.

"I wouldn't be so sure about ADD" Aidan said with a playful smile. He took the coins from the hat and hid it in his pocket. "Thanks" He smiled. "I'm not good....well not very good. Just good enough to earn some money. I need a new guitar. Something that would give me more possibilities" He looked at the man biting his bottom lip thinking. Maybe he should ask him to sing together sometime?

"A new guitar?" Christian repeated with a small nod. "I know of a few good places in London to get one. They are rather expensive but all the guitars that I have tried out there are pretty good.." He shrugged, letting out a small sigh as he noticed how the other seemed to be going back into his shell some.

"Hmm...expensive is the word" Aidan nodded slowly. He didn't have much money and he definitely wasn't going to get any from his parents. He'd never get it anyway. He should get a job but with his schedule it was almost impossible so all he could do was to play in bars and on the streets.
He kept chewing on his bottom lip for a moment. Finally he took of his glasses and started cleaning them with his scarf to occupy his hands. "Listen...maybe we could practice together sometimes" If the guy was as good as he was saying Aidan would like to hear him

Christian didn't really understand the problem to come up with the money for a new guitar. He had never had that problem before. Everything he wanted he got with just one phone call to Daddy Dearest. "Sure..we can practice together" He nodded. "My mum will be coming down to get Brooke for a few days this Friday. So maybe then?"

He agreed. Aidan was surprised but happy. "Friday sounds great" He said nodding quickly and putting his glasses on. He could see the other didn't understand his problem about the guitar and money. But that was Aidan's problem and he'd take care of that himself. "I have a few songs...." Recently he'd written a few songs he'd like to work on.

Christian chuckled to himself as he watched the excitement the other man seemed to have with the agreement. "So it's date. Should we wear something casual or formal or nothing at all? I'm all up for the latter.." He winked, holding up one of Brooke's sticky hands to give her a five.

Aidan's eyes widened and mouth opened to protest but then he realized the other was joking. "Whatever you feel comfortable in" He said winking and the corner of his lips curled up. He watched he man with his daughter. At least he thought she was his daughter. Rather not sister. But what happened to the baby's mother then?

Whatever he felt comfortable in? Oh goody, Christian had always loved walking around in his birthday suit. It made him feel free. "You want to know where her mother is.." He stated absently, looking up to find that question look in the others eyes. People always asked.

Aidan shook head quickly averting his eyes. "Sorry, it's not my business" He answered quickly pulling at the few random strings. His fingers started moving on their own accord playing a sof melody in the background of their conversation. He shouldn't be so easy to read. The fact that the other could read the question in his eyes was very bad
