Being a true Cali boy, Jason loved the sun and the beach. Whenever he would have time he would be taking a swim, go surfing, take a walk besides the water or just hang out with his friends. Today, being a saterday he had just gotten back from an audition for one of the leads in a drama series. It was just between him and two other guys now so in a few days he would be called wheter or not he got the part.
So, deciding to just relax for the rest of the day Jason had just taken a swim in the ocean. Wearing a dark blueand black swimshort Jason ran a hand through his wet hair as he walked out of the water. Today the sun was shining bright and it was pretty warm, so many people had thought of taking a quick dip in the warm ocean water.

“Forty-eight..forty-nine..fifty..fifty-one..” Adia counted under her breath. She was laying out doing stomach crunches on a large beach towel near the waters edge. Only a short pair of gray sweatpant type shorts and a black bikini top covered her thin body. She had just transferred to the new school a couple of days beforehand, not even her own twin brother knew about her arrival.
She stopped once her count reached the mid eighties, her arms crossed across her knees for support as she tried to catch her breath. Her break only lasted not even a minute before she was at it again. She had to work off that half a piece of toast that she had forced down her throat at breakfast that morning. Models had to be thin. “eighty-six..eighty-seven..eighty-eight”

Really, that water stung like a b*tch!Rubbing the salt water from his eyes Jason did not pay attention to where he was walking for a moment. Expecting no one to be sitting so close to the water's edge he almost tumbled over a girl doing sit-ups when he opened his eyes agains. "Whoa, sorry. Didn't see you there." he said, taking a step back to keep himself from walking right over her.

"Watch where you are going, will you!" Adia hissed, quickly jumping to her feet to keep from getting trampled by some jerk that thought he owned the place. She knew this jerk, saw his face every single day for the past two years. Her eyes widened in surprise and she took a few steps back from him, wrapping her towel around herself to hide her "grotesque" body. "Jason?" She gasped.

Jason had wanted to shrug and move past the girl when she started hissing at him. Seriously, what was wrong with people? He said he was sorry, no need to get all snappy or whatever. Then again, people were all the same whether you were in Europe like now or when you where back at home in LA. He raised a brow when he heard her say his name. “Yeah…how did you…” but before he could finish his sentence he suddenly recognized the petite brown haired girl standing in front of him. “Adia Tait.” a boyish smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. Well, well…that had sure been a while since he had seen her.

Adia's mouth opened in surprise when he said her name. One night together and almost three years apart and he still remembered her name. Not even half of the men that she had been with could do that not an hour after getting with them. She wasn't the type of girl that people chose to keep fresh in their minds. A smile managed to make it's way across her face. "Jason.." She repeated. "How are..what are..hey.." She finally managed to say.

There were two kinds of people. One who left no impression on you and one who did. Adia Tait belonged to the latter kind and even though they hadn’t seen each other in years Jason still knew the name that belonged to the pretty face. His smirk turned into a smile and he studied her face for a brief moment. She had grown up some but she still looked like the girl he had a vague memory of in the back of his mind. “Hey.” Well he sure had never expected to see this girl again! “Good, swimming and you? Haven’t seen you in a while.”

"Oh nothing..just watching hot babes playing around and flexing their muscles in the water" Adia teased, reaching out to squeeze his arm muscle before quickly dropping her hand back to her side in embarrassment. He had definitely filled out some since the last time she had saw him, she on the other hand must have looked like a horrible mess to him. She gripped the towel tighter around herself. "Yeah..I know..it's been a long time.." She agreed. "Boarding school doesn't give one much chances to get out and see past..acquaintances. I just transferred a few days ago"

He chuckled, being amused with the way she gave her words more weight by squeezing his arm. He had not been flexing his muscles in the water like some gross g-string bodybuilder but he had been working out a lot more since the last few years. And the evidence of that was pretty easy to spot. “I see, well have you spot any good ones?” just needing to tease her back the tiniest bit.
She looked good, well her face, her arms and her legs up to her knees at least. There was not much else she was allowing him to see by wrapping a big towel around herself. He nodded, “Yeah I guess so…” pausing for moment as she smirked by hearing the word acquaintances. In some way it was true, in another way he got to know her a whole lot more intimate than most acquaintances were ever allowed to do. “So transferred ey? To where?” Maybe she was going to school somewhere close, that would be cool.

"Not really. All the guys here are way out of my league anyways..but they are fun to watch" Adia shrugged, grinning. She hadn't been watching before, not in the least. "I transferred to some performing arts school that my brother goes to. I'm going to try for the umm..dance major" Anyone that knew her also knew that Tait's were terrible on the dance floor. "Anyways..what have you been up to these past..what is it? Three years since I saw you last?" That seemed about right, Parker was a little over two now.

“Ehm, yeah pretty much I think.” He said while sitting down in the sand, which was a whole lot more comfortable than to keep standing right in front of her -if she decided to sit down as well-. “I was seventeen when I met you, I guess three years should be about right.” Man, it really had been that long hadn’t it?
The mentioning of a performing arts school suddenly peeked his interest and he again, raised a brow. “For real? You’re going to school right here?” Alright so apparently they were going to the same school now? Well it had to be the same school, there was only one performing arts one in this city. Gsees, it really was fcuking small world wasn’t it? “Majoring in acting and it sounds like in the same school you just transferred too.”

Adia sat down in the sand next to him, letting the towel fall from her shoulders to bunch up on the ground behind her. It was far too hot to keep covered up like that. She rested her chin on her knees, big brown eyes staring up at him curiously. So he was a year older than her? It was sad really, how little she knew about the father of her child. The fathers of both her children. "We go to the same school? That's..that's..unexpected.." She looked down at her feet. "I'm sure you are a great actor. You have that look to you"

Jason knew how to pretend to be someone he was not, that is what actors knew how to best. Although Adia probably wasn’t all that bad in acting either, which only was a hunch. But still. His eyes travelled over her body, but she soon pulled her knees up so he was again not allowed to see much of her. Oh well, maybe she was insecure or something.
“Yeah, pretty much. So you know any other people at the school, except me?”, although he wasn’t sure whether she liked the idea of them going to the same school. She didn’t seem to be that enthusiastic about it. Then again, they didn’t really know each other now did they? He shrugged and laughed softly, “Ya think so? I just like to act, but thanks.”

"Yeah..my twin brother has been going here for a few years now. He's a music major. You might know him..Christian Tait" Adia replied quietly. She still wasn't too sure herself if she liked the idea of the two of them going to school together. It was bad enough that she had to see his face in her son but now she would get to see him regularly. Should she tell him that he had a kid or keep the truth locked inside of herself? It would probably ruin his life if she told him but then again he deserved to know. The words were on the tip of her tongue, but she caught them before they spilt from her lips. Hugging her knees tighter as he looked her body over.

Jason frowned, thinking for a moment. “Yeah, I think I know who he is. Well I can match the name with a face, don’t really know the guy himself though.” So they were twins? Glancing at her for a moment Jason wasn’t really sure if she actually liked it that he had decided to go sit with her and chat. She had been nothing but quiet, practically hiding herself and she seemed distant. Not that he would have expected a big hug or something, but he still found her to be more distant than she had been once. Maybe he should just leave her alone?
