You're crashing but you're no wave [open]

Practicing late? Aidan wondered. He wasn't sure. There was something in his voice. But then he mentally scolded himself. Wasn't he supposed to trust Christian? "Poor Chris" He murmured kissing the other's hair. "Maybe you'd like me to stay with Brooke so you could take a nap?" He offered. He had no idea how to take care of a baby but he oculd figure that out, right?

"He can have all the time he needs" He said smiling

"I told you I'm fine Aidan..I got her!" Christian snapped out of nowhere. My, was he a grouchy little man when he hadn't gotten any sleep. He handed the coffee back to Aidan and then helped his daughter out of her chair to hold her against his shoulder where she quieted down almost instantly.

Aidan blinked a few times visibly shocked by Christian's attack. He sat back straight making some space between them. "Sorry" he mumbled. Apparently he did something wrong. He took the coffee cup and bit his bottom lip focusing his eyes on the brown liquid in the cup. He took a few slow sips not looking at anyone.

After giving a few early dance classes at the dans school she worked at this morning Reese decided to head down to the cafeteria to get herself a chocolate muffin and some tea. Now that she was almost three months pregnant she had started to crave tea and muffins like crazy. The doctor had said it was normal for her to certainly feel a craving for particular kinds of food, so once in a while she gave in. Walking into the cafetaria she went straight for the muffins, found the best looking chocolate one and got herself a mug of hot tea.

Christian mentally smacked himself as he realized that he had hurt Aidan's feelings with his snappiness. He couldn't help it, he was tired and didn't want to let on that he couldn't handle taking care of his own child by himself. "No..damn it..I'm sorry" He groaned, kissing his way down his lovers jaw in apologies as he bounced Brooke in his arms. Adia averted her awkwardly.

Nobody else had saw her come in, nobody but Parker at least. He could remember Reese from the couple of times that his uncle had brought him around her. She was one of the few people that he had taken to the quickest. Silently, so that nobody saw him go, he climbed out of his high chair and ran to her. Tugging at the older woman's jeans to get her attention. "Mack! Mack! Hold me!"

Aidan shrugged cringing a little. "No, you were right" He said quietly. "I have no right to get between you two" There was something about being snapped at that made Aidan all quiet and insecure. But he relaxed when he felt soft kisses on his jaw and he even smiled a little pushing the glasses up his nose nervously.

While searching in her wallet for some coins Reese felt something tug her jeans. Soon followed by a young boy’s voice. Looking down she smiled when she recognized the boy as Parker, son of Adia and Jason and nephew of Christian. “Hey honey…” her voice surprised to see him. Reese reached out for him and took him up in her arms. “Are you here all by yourself?” Glancing around she soon found his mom, uncle and Aidan sitting at a table up ahead.

She smiled, of course not having expect him to be around all on his own, but that was sort of the standard question most people asked when they saw a little kid running around on its own. “Ehm, never mind that tea, can I have some juice instead?” she asked the person standing behind the counter. Walking around with Parker it wouldn’t be very wise to have a mug of hot almost boiling water in her hand. Receiving a small bottle of juice she held it up before Parker, “Can you hold that for me honey?” still having the little one sitting on her arm.

Christian was angry with himself, that was for sure. But there was no need to be, everyone got a little snappy sometimes. "I'm sorry.." He repeated, sitting Brooke down on top of the table by herself and rubbing at his eyes. "I want you to be" He rested his head in his daughter's lap facing Aidan, only to receive a few smacks to the back of his head as she got all excited again. She was one happy little brat, wasn't she?

Parker shook his head no. She should have known better than to assume he was here by himself. Adia wasn't that bad of a parent. He took the juice from her as she handed it to him, holding it tightly to his chest to make sure he was doing his job right for Miss Mack. "Mommy..Daddy..boy.." He said pointing to their table to let her know he wasn't here alone.

Aidan's eyes widened. Christian really wanted him to be the part of their little group? His small smile started to grow slowly but it didn't have a chance to grow fully as it broke into laugher. "Slow down young lady" he said catching Brooke's little hands and shaking them playfully. "I happen to like this head". He was still too focus on Christian and Brooke to notice Mack

“Wow that is one busy table.” She laughed softly, watching Aidan and Christian talk while Brooke was constantly hitting her daddy on the head. Paying for her food Reese shoved her wallet back in her bag, hanging over her shoulder, and managed to hold her muffin at the same time. “So are we going to the park again soon? It think I still promised you some ice-cream didn’t I?” pressing a soft kiss on the little boy’s cheek, then making her way over to the busy table with Parker. Last time Christian had dragged her, Brooke and Parker to the park where they had played for the entire afternoon. Which had been really fun.

Parker nodded although he couldn't remember Reese ever promising him ice-cream. But what did he care? It was free batch of sugar that he didn't have to cry and beg for from his mum. "Me don't know.." He shrugged, blushing as the beautiful woman kissed his cheek.

Her son was gone, Adia finally noticed. Her heart skipped a beat as she whipped around in search of him. "Parker Ryan Tait!" She gasped, jumping up and snatching him from the woman's arms without really realizing who he was with. "You nearly gave mommy a heart attack!"

Christian lifted his head up at the commotion, a grin appearing on his face as Reese joined them. He hadn't seen her since he had gotten together with Aidan, which was odd because he had thought for sure that she would be the first person he would tell. "Mack!" He made to lunge for her but paused, remembering that he wasn't allowed to hug and kiss all over his best friend anymore, or so he thought. He sat back down, sliding his hand along the inside of his lovers thigh in hopes that he hadn't seen his little mix up.

Aidan's head turned when he heard the name. A playful smile danced on his lips. He noticed Christian's little jump and he hoped it wasn't what he was afraid of. that Mack was one of Christian's previous lovers. He decided not to think about it though. "Well look who's here" He tilted his head and winked covering Christian's hand with his. "Where have you been hiding? You know I don't bite" He said getting up and leaning to kiss the air beside Reese's ear, still holding Christian's hand.

In a split second Reese suddenly found herself to be Parker-less as Adia snatched her son from her arms. She blinked, needing a moment to realized what just happened. “Hey Addy.” greeting the girl to let her know she wasn’t stranger holding her son. Running a hand through her hair she smiled when Christian called out for her. “Hey boys…”, walking over to them as Aidan stood up from his seat. Reese let her hand rest on Aidan’s shoulder while she stood on her toes and kissed his cheek unlike he had ‘kissed’ the air besides her ear.

“Yeah I know, I’m sorry.” she apologized, “…things have been pretty hectic and I had some stuff to deal with.” Like for one, the pregnancy, and second the whole I-am-dating-Tony thing and then her brother who had some trouble in the area of love. Deciding that she would call him tomorrow and ask if he felt like getting coffee to catch up or something. She had missed his company just like she had missed Christian’s the last two or maybe even three weeks.

“So you and Aidan hu? You two are really cute together.” she whispered in Chris his ear as she leaned down and kissed his cheek next. Having spotted the two boys holding hands when Aidan had stood up from his chair. Although she wondered if Chris knew she and Aidan had been having a fling in the past, she wasn’t really sure if she had told him about it. Not that she would bring it up or something, that would be just…awkward.

"Hi.." Adia replied automatically, forcing a smile as she sat her son down on top of the table to wipe off his messy face. She was still a little bit disgruntled about finding that her son had gone missing only to reappear two seconds later in the arms of another woman. It made her feel like she had done something wrong. "Ugh..I'll be going you guys..I'll see you later.." She shot at Aidan.

Christian sat back, dropping Aidan's hand as he left him to kiss Reese, crossing his arms across his chest in a pout. Now that wasn't fair at all. They could hug all over each other all they wanted, but he couldn't? And since when did the two of them know each other? He felt left out, that is until he felt those familiar soft lips press against his cheek. "Cute? Is that what you call it? I'd say it's hot..but since you two are an item now I don't know what to think about us.." Oh yes, he wasn't a happy camper.

Aidan didn't know if Chris knew. Simply because he didn't. Being so modest and lacking self confidence would never think there could be anything more between him and Reese. For him she was simply a beautiful girl and a good friend when he needed one. A girl like her would never look at a guy like him so he saw sort of a sister in her.

"Later" He waved at Adia and smiled widely. but then he turned to look at Chris surprised. A pout? Because he knew Reese? He'd smile if he didn't think he did something wrong again. "We're not an item" He said trying to match Christian's pout
