"Yeah ok" Aidan nodded grimacing. "Or a girlfriend" HE wasn't decided yet. 'But I doubt this part of your plan will work" Because the only person he liked so far was interested only in pulling him to bed then discarding like the others. This was something Aidan wouldn't allow. So he would probably stay single and lonely. At least he'll have a reason to sing sad songs

"My plans always work. Except that usually they don't" He couldn't help but smile at him, sticking out his tongue, piercing glinting in the light. He would help Aidan, no matter what. Even if it meant less time with his friends, with Juli, if he ever got him. Even if it didn't work out with the man he loved - because he could finally admit to that now - he would still want his friend to be happy.

Aidan snorted. "Really. That sounds very promising" He took another sip of his coffee and propped his chin on a hand. "In that case tell me who do you see me with." He said smiling doubtfully. Let's see what Gray thinks. "you can take both boys and girls into consideration" Maybe gray knew someone else who'd suit him although he doubt he'd be interested. He could still remember those soft lips

Graham looked at Aidan for a while, thinking about the people he knew. "I see you with a guy, rather than a girl. It's not that you wouldn't be a good boyfriend to a girl, I just think you'd match better with someone...you didn't have to protect." Maybe his words didn't make much sense, but he couldn't really explain it. "It would be someone who could make you smile. Someone who would stimulate you to be more open, more fun-loving. Someone who could make you aspire to be a better, more creative person." When he was saying it, one name kept popping into his head.

Aidan had to agree with Graham. He'd be better with a guy. And what the other was saying made so much sense. Everything. How he needed the person who'd be his partner. Someone who'd give him strength to open up. He nodded slowly. "Name please" He said smiling a little. Of course it was easy to name things the person had to have but..."cause I'm afraid a person like that doesn't exist"

"Well...if I had to name a person that would come closest to that it'd be Chris." Graham pondered this for a moment. Chris seemed like a kid who would shag anything on his path, but he knew from Reese that the guy really wanted love more than anything. He barely ever talked about stuff like that with Christian. They were friends, but not very close. Though if Aidan would fancy him he'd risk a talk.

Aidan was looking at his coffee cup when Graham said the name. And it was that name. The one he so wanted to hear but so doubted. his head shot up and he looked at Gray. "Chris? Chris who?" He asked. Of course Chris could mean either Christian or Christopher and he bet there were many guys with these names in this school. But it there was the name then maybe there was a person to this name. Someone who'd be just like the one Greay described.

"Tait. He's pretty out there. I used to fancy him. Never worked out though. Guess that had more to do with him not being interested in me" It had hurt, but he'd gotten over it pretty fast when he had started to notice Juli in an entirely different way than before. It was odd how you could spend time with someone and suddenly open your eyes. Suddenly fall for them. God, he wanted to be with him, kiss him. Make love to him again.

Aidan closed his eyes with a rather painful expression. "It wouldn't work" He said trying to sound casually. "Not with him" He opened his eyes and looked at Graham. He stayed like that for a while, quiet. Then he shook head and looked back at his cup. "Christian Tait isn't interested in a relationship" Especially with me. He got his kiss, maybe he'll want to pull me to bed. After all a virgin is a tempting prey. But that's all. His thoughts and doubt vere visible in his eyes if one knew how to look

"And you would know.." Grays voice was soft, and he wasn't really asking him. For a guy, for a guy like him that didn't seem too smart or too attentive, he saw more than people knew. "You would know because you've tried. And he didn't want it? Didn't want you?" God, how stupid could Christian get? Didn't he understand, didn't he see?

Aidan shrugged. "He did." He answered. "Who woudn't be interested in a virgin" He said quietly. "He was really nice. He...we kissed" his first kiss. Why did it have to become a painful memory? "But then I met his sister. She told me what a person Christian really is. How he'd sleep with anyone he lays his eyes and hands on and how he would probably never have a relationship" his voice was bitter.

Graham shook his head. "No. No, he's not like that. I mean, he is...but he wants love. He might not say it, but he does. He's just...I guess in a way he's scared or insecure." He really didn't know Christian too well. But he knew Reese, and she spoke about him sometimes. "I can't believe he's like that. That he would use you. Not you." It was obvious that he meant it in a good way. "Have you talked to him?"

"Christian scared?" Aidan repeated in a doubtful voice. "you're kidding. How could someone like Chris feel scared or insecure." no way. It was impossible. Aidan Kinney could feel insecure but not Christian. Not with his looks, his confidence, his body. And what Gray meant by not you? Why not? Was Aidan any different from the others? "No, I haven't. Not since...that day in the practice room...when we kissed"

"Well, I can't speak for other people, but I know that sometimes you don't see yourself the way others do. That goes for all of us. Not just the ones that hide in the corner, not wanting to be seen by anyone. Even the ones that are out there...sometimes they're the ones that are the most insecure." Graham thought about lighting a cigarette but decided to play with his lighter instead, giving Aidan a little smile. "You guys need to talk."

Aidan shrugged. Even if Graham was right about Chrisitan feeling insecure they would never be together. Insecurity could even help in NOT happen. Because if Christian felt insecure he'd want to date someone who'd make him feel more secure, like someone popular, someone hot, someone whom people would be jealous of. "What for? come on Gray, get real. He'd never get really interested in someone like me. I have nothing to offer"
