Mikaela was walking around the practice room. She was trying to work out a new song that had been sitting there for a few days. Actually two weeks was more like it. Since the day at the beach with Dane. She remembered staring at the sunset and some of the words just started to come to her.
Sitting at the piano, she tried out a melody to the lyrics she had down. Hitting a sour spot, she just dragged her fingers along the keys and grunted. She had the words and felt the music in her. It’s just something was hindering her from getting it out. And Mikaela could not figure out what it was.
