"If you have a problem with it then just go.."
Well it didn't take long to hear it again. Aidan stood with his back at them. He wrapped arms around himself shaking. He wanted to quit but he needed time. He needed some help. But right now he just wanted to disappear. The words were ringing loud in his ears. Christian didn't want to help him. He wanted him to just leave. All Aidan's insecurities stroke with a double force.

Christian glared at his back. Aidan was really going to leave him wasn't he? The drugs were more important than their relationship. He shouldn't have said anything about being the one to throw them out. He looked back down at Brooklyn, upset that she had to witness another break up when she had already grown attached to him again. "I'm sorry Princess.."

But Aidan didn't leave. He just slid onto the ground pulling knees up to his chin and wrapping arms around them. Once again his eyes filled with tears started by this dull pain in his chest mixed with a nausea. He tried to force his body to stop shaking, biting lip so hard he could taste the blood. He wanted to crawl to Christian. To beg him. But he couldn't move. Christian didn't want him. He was worthless. he should leave. Run. Far away. And hide where no one would find him

This wasn't fair. Christian couldn't handle sitting here with a sobbing man only a few feet away from him and not do anything. But at the same time he didn't want to baby Aidan, he should be stronger than that. They were supposed to be able to talk about their problems. He whispered something into Brooke's ear and turned her in his direction, she'd fix this for him.
"My Dan!" She said in her naturally high voice, crawling in front of him and holding her arms wide open for him to hold her.

Aidan opened his eyes and looked through the tears at the baby at her feet. He smiled weakly. At least she liked him. And that was more than he could wish for. She was a baby she wouldn't lie to him. She wouldn't want to use him. He picked her up and pulled close to his chest sobbing. "My Little Princess." He said softly. "Help me be stronger Princess" He whispered

Brooklyn didn't know what to do when Aidan clutched her to his chest and began sobbing. Naturally whenever someone cried in front of her she would cry too, and thats exactly what she did. Her bottom lip puckered out and face turned a light shade of red as forced hot tears rolled down her chubby cheeks.

"Now, now, don't cry" Aidan cooed when she started to sob. So even she didn't want to be in his arms. "Come on Princess. Smile for me" He smiled too weakly. And loosened up the grip. "I don't think your daddy wants me" He said softly sighing. "I suppose he thinks I'm weak and worthless. I guess he's right. I am. I'm also stupid. BUt I love him" he wiped Brooke's small cheeks with his thumb

Christian whimpered. He had heard the whole thing and what he didn't expect to hear was those three little words, ever. I love him. He must have misinterpreted what he heard, no one would ever say that when talking about Christian Tait and mean it. He somehow managed to get to his feet, knees threatening to buckle beneath him. "Prove it"

Aidan turned around quickly rather scared. He didn't expect Chris to hear it. Acutally he even forgot about the other man's presence. But Chris heard and aidan figured he was angry. It was too soon, or maybe he didn't want Aidan to feel that way. Who would. He got up slowly and walked to Christian with Brooke in his arms. HE was looking at the girl, scared to catch Christian's eyes. "How?" He asked quietly

Christian didn't know if he really wanted it to be true or not. Saying the I love yous was a big step and they were fighting. He seemed to have lost his breath in the time that it took Aidan to walk to him, focusing his own eyes solely on the raven haired little girl in his arms. He was afraid too. "Prove it.." He repeated. How else?

"I don't know how" Aidan said softly raisign his eyes slowly up from Brooke to Christian's face. "It's not something i'm familiar with. I don't know how I can prove it to you" He answered honestly. It was true. Love was something he felt for the first time in his life. For a long time he wasn't even sure it was love. He realized it when he heard Christian tell him to leave again.

Christian didn't want to believe him unless he found some way to prove it to him. Some movement or gesture or saying, something. Anything that would show him that he wasn't just throwing that out there to keep them from breaking up again. It shouldn't be for the wrong reasons. He took a step forward to relieve him from the child but was stopped as Brooke smacked her hand in the air in his direction. She didn't want to be taken away from Aidan again.

Aidan took a deep shaky breath. "I've never said it before to anyone but that's how I feel. I know it now. And i know that I don't want to be without you. I don't want to lose you but if you decide not to be with me...if you want me to go I'll understand...I want you to be happy and if you can't be happy with me I'll go" He said. The corners of his lips quivered slightly when he saw Brooke's actions

This was all a bit too much for him. He leaned forward to rest his hands on his knees, his breaths coming in short gasps. He had never wanted Aidan to leave, he had just given him that option. Chris wouldn't try to change him if he didn't want it. Everything that Aidan had just said he felt in return. But he couldn't say it. The words wouldn't come. So he opted for something more simpler. "Don't go.."

Aidan didn't say anything at first. He took a few minutes to let the words sink in. Don't go. He didn't need to hear the words he just said to Christian. Don't go was enough. He exhaled only then realizing he was holding his breath waiting for the other man's reaction. "I won't" He said placing his hand on Christian's shoulder
