Dancing was the cure to take all your worries away, your fears and everything else that troubled you. Luckily for Reese she was majoring in dancing and she taught dance in the dance studio she lived above. After spending the morning at school catching up with a few friends she had gone down to the studio in the afternoon to teach. Since it was Saturday the place had been filled with kids which she taught ballet, hip hop, street dance and pretty much everything else they wanted to learn besides break dance. Cause that was one thing she couldn’t do.
So now, after dinner later that day, Reese was sitting on the floor, stretching her tired muscles while watching a movie. Tonight was her night off, something she barely had on weekends since she had to work as much as she possibly could. If not she would not be able to send her mom money for food, the woman depended on both her children –Reese and Graham- now that she had gone blind.

"Reese! Open up! It's freezing out here!" Christian called, kicking at the door since his hands were full with a diaper bag and what seemed like a thousand pound baby carrier. It was a Saturday night and yet he had no place to go, it wasn't like he had found a sitter anyways. So what better way to take away his boredom than to force out another dance lesson with Miss Mackenzie? She had to, Reese would never turn him down when he had his little Brookie Mack in his graces.
((Ew. Sorry. My mind went blank there for a second. ))

The one thing about dancing your worries away was that they came rushing back when you stopped. At some point you just had to stop dancing cause you simply ran out of energy. It was unfair, really. Glancing down at her stomach for a moment it was still such a weird idea a baby was growing inside of her. It was a little over a week that she knew about it and right now she was still the only one. Reese knew that she would have to tell Tony about her and Graham sooner or later. But right now, she wasn’t ready enough to do so. She sighed, hearing someone kick at her door. God, couldn’t she have one night off for a change?! Pushing herself up to her feet she made her way over to the door, “Yeah yeah, give me second.” Not recognizing the voice just yet. Yawning she opened the door but her yawn immediately turned into a smile when she matched the voice to the person. “Hey honey…” holding the door open for him and his little girl. Christian was always welcome, just like all of her friends were. Reese would never let anyone stand in the cold, especially not cute dads and their kids. ooc: I love it anyway

Christian rolled his eyes as he heard the woman of so many of his wet dreams whine and moan about having to get up off her ass to answer the door. And people thought he was lazy? "Hey honey?" He repeated, with a small arch of the eyebrow. "I was looking forward to a good cuddle session and getting my two favorite Mack's together but since you don't seem to want the company we'll just go.." He sighed dramatically, stepping in to the apartment anyways despite what he had just said.

Arching an eyebrow of her own at him repeating her words she watched him walk into the apartment. What was wrong with those words? She called people she cared about honey all the time, he should have noticed that by now. Oh well, if he hadn’t he would notice it eventually. She smirked, taking the diaper bag from his hands to put if over her shoulder after she had closed the door again. “I always want your and your daughters company, you should know that by now handsome.” she winked at him playfully, pressing a quick soft kiss on his cheek. Walking over to the couch she set the bag besides it on the floor.

Christian's face flushed a deep shade of crimson as her lips touched his cheek. A natural reaction when it came to Reese Mackenzie. If only she knew what her presence really did to him. "I know you do, I just like hearing you say you want me.." He shrugged, sitting the baby carrier on the floor next to the couch to begin digging out the only other girl he adored more than Reese. "I think someone over here needs a little loving from her future step mom, don't you think?"

Still standing with her back towards him she smiled, hearing him say he liked it when she said she wanted him. It was true though, there wasn’t a time she didn’t want him around. Nor wasn’t there a time she wouldn’t want to cuddle with him. Christian was one of the few who could actually cheer her up when she was being a cranky little wench she knew she could be sometimes. All it took was a pout and hug and the dark clouds having over her would dissolve into thin air.
Picking up the remote control to turn off the TV, she pressed the off button and the screen turned black. Dropping it back on the table she turned and sat down next to Christian and Brooklyn. “Future step mom?” Ehm, come again? “What do you mean Chris?”
Pulling her legs up on the couch she watched Christian get the little girl from the baby carrier, waiting till she could cuddle a bit with the little one. She was so cute, which immediately made her think of the baby growing inside her. A secret not even the father knew yet.

Christian smirked at the reaction he got from the name he had come up for her. "You are going to be her future step mom one of these days. You probably don't know it yet, but you and I..we are destined for each other. You can't deny that we won't make beautiful kids together, two gorgeous people like us.." Oh man, he wished. Chris Tait may have been leaning more towards men when it came to his sexuality but he'd most definitely go straight for one night with this one.
Brooklyn let out a soft cry as she was disturbed from her sleep but settled down once she was placed in the woman's arms, bringing a curled fist to her mouth to suck on in place of a bottle. Her big blue eyes opened wide and curious. "Ga.."

Reese tilted her head a little to the side, now studying his face. It wasn’t entirely what she had expected him to say but his words did made her smile a little. “Who knows what the future brings right?” Chris and Reese? Well they would make a crazy couple, although it did cross her mind every now and then. “Our kids would be perfect, we would so make all the other parents out there jealous.”
Holding Brooklyn in her arms Reese smiled, she was such a pretty little girl. “Hey there beautiful.” Lovingly brushing the girls cheek with her index finger. “One thing is for sure, you really make gorgeous babies Chris.” Moving a little on the couch she leaned against Chris, wondering what he would think of her being pregnant.

Again Christian blushed, draping his arm around Reese's shoulder as she leaned in to him. Pressing a kiss to the top of her head. He really did make beautiful babies, didn't he? Well of course, seeing as Brooklyn looked exactly like her stunningly beautiful father. Except for the eyes, she had her mothers eyes. "Thank you..and I'll be waiting for you in the future" He sighed happily, smiling as Brooke snatched the finger from her cheek to bite on instead. She tended to do that often now that she was teething.

Snuggling a little more against him she let her head rest against his shoulder. Would it be like this for her too in nine months? With Tony? Or maybe alone? Or wouldn’t she have a baby at all? “You better be there. In the future.” Cause if he wouldn’t be there in the future it would be one hell of a boring future and it would be just weird. She had gotten used to having Christian around all the time, it would be so weird if he wouldn’t be.
She let Brooklyn bite on her finger, thinking about how it would be like to have a little one of her own. “Do you think I would be a good mom? Like, for real?” Reese loved kids but being a parent was something very different. Sure, they did joke a lot about making babies and all. But she wanted to know, for real if he thought she could handle it or not.

Did he even have to say it? There was no doubt about it that Christian Tait would be there for her, now or even in the future. Reese was one of his best friends. He wouldn't let her get too far in life without him. He pressed another kiss to her head, reaching for the TV remote as he pondered her question. Another no brainer. "Yeah..of course I do.."

Alright so she had sort of expected him to say yes, she knew he wasn’t going to say something like ‘Hell no, you suck at parenting’. Still, would she really be ready? Not to mention she could kiss dancing goodbye if the baby was really going to be there. And would Tony want to have anything to do with it? And what about mom? With a baby there was no time to work all the time, not to mention working as a dance teacher with a big pregnant stomach! “I’m pregnant…” she suddenly whispered softly, while she kept her eyes locked on Brooklyn. Reese has always wanted to be a mother someday, but if she was happy about being pregnant right now was still the big question.

Christian wasn't lying when it came to judging if Reese Mackenzie would be a good mom. He had no doubt in his heart that she wouldn't be. But the moment those words were whispered off of her lips his face fell. And so did he, right onto his back on the floor. "Oh no Mack. You are breaking my heart. My heart..it's broken..no..no.." He whined, clutching a hand to his heart as he rolled around on the floor. It was mostly a joke, something he was doing to make the situation seem lighter. She was so young, he didn't want her following in his footsteps just yet.

Since she had been leaning against Christian, Reese tumbled over on her back on the couch, with Brooklyn still in her arms. A faint ‘oomph’ left her lips as she had not expected for Christian to fall on the floor. Pushing herself back up to a sitting position with one arm, she now let her back rest against he back rest of the couch. “Trust me, a lot of other hearts are going to be broken besides yours.” Not finding it really amusing what he was doing. Holding the little girl against her Reese truly felt torn up inside about it all. Tony didn’t want her, she wanted him and she carried his kid around. How unfair was that? A silent tear ran down her cheek as Brooklyn yawned and again went to grab her finger. “I’m scared Chris…”
