“You'd be correct. I hardly strike out, and when I do its usually with someone not worth my time anyway. So trust me when I say I won't be striking out if I have any say in the matter, and I do.” He grinned at her, enjoying this little game of back and forth, it was fun. Great way to entertain yourself. Easier then picking up women.
Angel's eyebrow rose and he grinned. “You can't reject me if I'm going to prove you wrong about before.” He leaned back and took another drink. “Why you're here tonight. Whats your deal. The usual. A number perhaps?”

"Ah, I must be worth your hard-earned time. Believe me when I say I'm ecstatic." Note the sarcasm, please. She leaned back in her seat, just watching him. He was a cocky thing, wasn't he. With some interesting points, she had to admit. "Maybe I won't reject you on the terms that I'm curious what it is you have to prove."
"I am here to have a good time, to maybe find someone to spend the night with, and to perhaps cure my boredom." She took a sip of her drink. "I don't give my number, unless I like you. And if, by morning, I think you're worth a repeat."

His eyebrow rose a bit more at her sarcastic answer and he chuckled lowly. “I'd say you are, seeing as I've used little to no tactic on just getting you into my bed.” It was true, he hadn't been swooning her or buying her drinks or anything like that. He was talking with her, which wasn't his usual style in the least.
“I've got to prove you wrong on your earlier points.” Angel smirked. “Here for the same then.” He finished off his drink and forewent another. He didn't want one right now. “Well then we'll have to see If I live up to your standards princess, now won't we.”
