Tempest sat at the bar, it was her night off. She sipped at her drink, her legs crossed, high heels tapping out a bit, bare skin all the way up to her thighs, where the little black dress ended. It had small straps that circled her neck. It was low cut with a back that laced up, showing that she wasn't wearing a bra. She really didn't like clothing, went out as naked as she could possibly get away with on most days.
Her hair was pulled back a little, tendrils falling to frame her face and red lips, the rest falling delicately around her shoulders and down her back. Her eyes, lightly outlined with black, were watching those in the bar with calm, but slightly bored, curiosity. So far no one in the room had even so much as prodded her interest.

Angel had been dancing, charming the women around him with ease. They giggled when he told a joke or whispered something seductive in their ears, smiled when he complimented them and promptly blushed, and even accepted the drinks he'd bought them, no doubt never having this much attention lavished on them. Oh yes, he was a charmer that one. He'd landed himself so far in the past two hours a total of ten numbers, and three dates for the next weekend he came around. It was a good night.
Not in the least bit slow either. He was in his normal attire, black button down shirt, top button undone, hair perfect, teeth gleaming, the cuffs of his shirt sleeves also undone. He had on long faded blue jeans and expensive shoes. He offered the bar tender a smile and ordered another drink. His second tonight. The girl beside him, well he glanced at her, liked what he saw and slid right into a seat, leaving the one between them empty.

Well, that had been a lie. He interested her. That ladies man that slipped into the seat near her. Her eyes slipped to him as he sat down, taking an easy sip of her drink. "And lo, behold the hunter in a crowd of prey." She watched him with easy eyes. "Do you have to work at all, or do women fall at your feet all the time?" She had a sharp tongue sometimes, didn't quite know how to keep from speaking her mind. And there was no reason to, now was there.
He was cute, okay, more than cute, but he was a rake. He really was. She'd been watching, she saw the way he charmed all the women around. He was a dangerous one, it would seem. All the more fun for her. The dangerous ones made the best nights.

Angel looked over at her, hand coming around his drink easily, even without looking. He knew it was his. He'd been here quite a bit. Always finding new women to spend his nights with. She was a new one too. “I dare say my sweet that Its a bit of both. What about you, short clothes do all you need, the right bit of oh so daring charm?” He liked her tongue, hadn't been spoken to like that in a while and found it made his blood boil again.
“Dare I ask what a pretty little thing like yourself is doing here? Not that I'm complaining.” She was prey, like the rest of them. Another number to collect, another night to spend, another fcuk that he'd either remember as one of the best, or forget as unmentionable. Which he'd had quite a few of lately.

"You work for it, even a little? My, my, you need some work of your own, ladies man." Tempest snorted in his direction, full, red lips twisting up in a grin. "Me? I find something I like, and I get it. There really, generally, isn't any work involved." Her eyebrow rose at the rest of his words and just shrugged a shoulder.
"This pretty little thing can take care of herself, and if I'd like to sit at this bar, and have a drink, I will do it. And you? Picking up some new pieces of meat? Another conquest to hang from your belt and brag to your friends over cigarettes and beer in front of a wide-screen?"

“Of course. All the good ones have to work a little for what they want.” Angel smirked a bit and brought his drink to his lips, sipping at it. “I'm sure you've lost a time or two my sweet.” He chuckled lightly and shrugged. “So don't I. I almost never miss my mark.”
Angel listened to her and just grinned all the more. “Does the pretty little thing have something against men like me then?” He grinned. “I'm merely here looking for a few new women to spend my nights with. I do get bored talking over beer with my friends, you know.”

"You'd be right on that account, but I too, good sir, almost never miss." Tempest was enjoying this little banter, it was more entertaining than sitting by oneself, that was for sure. She sipped at her own drink, just watching him. "Something against men like you? I wouldn't say that, per se." They were fun to play with.
"And I get bored playing good little female, with her pots and pans and her needlepoint." She grinned back at him. "The pretty little thing likes to have fun too, and she has a name. It's Tempest."

She was a challenge. If she never missed and he never missed then who would be the one missing or hitting here? He just didn't know. It was clear to say that he was liking this though, quite a lot actually. “So then what do you think of men like me.” He chuckled lightly, appraising her and sipping his drink.
“Do you now?” He grinned all the more. “I'm Angel. The pleasure is all mine.” Her name matched her personality though, he liked it too. She was firey. It was rare to find a woman like her around, she made him curious.

"The male part is the same, no matter how they display it." She replied easily. "As for men like you, well, I've come to find they're most of the time cocky sons-of-bitches who are unsatisfying and who, shall we say, advertise wrong." She just leaned back in her seat and watched him, eyebrow raising at his name.
"Angel? Oh your parents had a sense of humor." She snickered, uncrossing and recrossing her legs, flashing a man down the bar a little bit. Black, lace, barely any material. She had a bra to match, but it was at home where it belonged. And as far as the pleasure thing went, she was sure.

He just chuckled at her comments. “I'm sure that you're right. For the most part. However you're wrong on the last two.” He winked over at her and brought that drink to his lips again, parting them just enough to drink some and setting it back down, folding his hands on the table and focusing his eyes on her.
“They had good reason for my name. I'm sure yours were caught in the middle of a storm when you were born.” Which happened to be no better. The fact of an angel, the personality of the devil, clear as day. He watched the mans face, watched him get ready to approach and Angel turned his look on him and the man was coughing and backing down, to which he just grinned. “Guess you lose that round.”

"I've yet to find a man that could prove me wrong. Why should you be any different." She waved a hand in dismissal and took a sip of her own drink. It was almost gone, and she tossed it back before turning her eyes on the bartender, who slid a drink down her way, which she caught easily in her hand.
"I'm sure they were." She didn't really remember her parents, alls well and good, considering they left her on her own when she was just a child. Her eyes raked over him and she shrugged. "I don't see any good reasons." Her eyebrow rose when he scared away the man, and she shook her head. "I call interference."

“Because I'm not like all the rest of them.” He watched her actions and found himself smiling at it. Obviously she'd been here too, or been here for a while at least. Enough anyway to train the bartender. His own was half full, and he didn't bother drinking down the rest right now.
Angel raised an eyebrow and looked at her. “Then sweetheart, you're not looking long enough.” He looked to the man he'd made back down and grinned. “You can't call that. I didn't do a thing. He's just not interested.” So lying through his teeth here.

"So say you." Tempest retorted easily. Yeah, she'd been here for a while. The bartender knew her habits, knew her drinks, knew when to talk and when to leave her the hell alone. She sipped at her drink easily, taking this one a little slower than the other one.
"Who says I want to be looking at all?" She retorted, shaking her head slowly. She got up, all grace from her seat and sauntered over to the man, slipping into the seat next to him to talk for a few moments. Femme fatale. When she got back up to move back to Angel, the man looked half drunk, and he hadn't touched his drink.
"Interested." She sat down and crossed her legs again. "Consider it strike one. I only give a man three strikes."

He watched her leave, not saying a word and just smirked when she came back. At least she came back. That meant he wasn't boring her, she hadn't chosen to stay with the duffer down that end of the bar. Angel flashed her a brilliant smile and ran his fingers through his hair winking at her. “Then I guess I better be careful not to strike out hm.”
Angel chuckled a little bit and downed a bit more of his drink. “Do I get to learn more about you, or should I skip to the part where I ask you to dance?” He raised an eyebrow, just looking at her for the moment. Pfft. She wanted to look and she knew it too. Who didn't want to.

"I would advise against it." Tempest settled back in her seat. He wasn't boring, he was interesting. He was matching her, and it was fun. She hadn't had someone do that in a long time. "Striking out isn't in your blood, I can see that well enough." This was a man far too accustom to getting what he wanted.
"Why skip to the part where you get rejected?" Her retort was quick, easy, calm. Her eyebrow rose as well, and she snorted, taking her drink in hand again, for the moment just playing with it. "What could you possibly want to know?" She was curious.
