Jared was in the little recording studio, that didn't really record as much as simulate what it would be like. It was completely soundproof, more or less, and the only way you could listen would be to put on the headphones on the other side. The glass had curtains, and they were shut a little because Jared was still self conscious of his singing. He really didn't think he was that good at all. Not to mention the song he was singing was one he'd written himself, and he was picky over who got to listen.
"I sat outside my front window...this story's going somewhere: "He's well hung," and I am hanging up. Well there's a song on the radio that says: "Let's get this party started." So let's get this party started. What you do on your own time's just fine. My imagination's much worse, I just never want to know. What meant the world imploded, faded and demoted all my oxygen to produce gas and suffocated my last chance..."

Mattie was listening, commenting on what he was doing, telling him what needed a little tweaking and what didn't. He could hardly see Jared as it was but he could listen to him. He just smiled softly and nodded his head. "Very good, keep going." He'd come here to teach the students music, to help them get better, hopefully get off on their own little careers. Not to mention that he'd come back for Jared and Lucas.
Those two were closer to him then anyone else. Jared was well. He'd grown up having the kid around and he couldn't love him more then he did. He loved hearing Jared sing, the guy had a very good voice, do didn't that brother of his. But they just didn't believe him when he told them it. They always shook it off and just played their music. "Once more from the next verse yeah?"

Jared always had responded well to the other's teaching. Maybe it was because he'd known him his entire life and was just so used to listening to him. Though there were times when he'd just do the opposite, but that was his rebellion coming into play there. He fixed what he was doing, fixed his voice. It was getting to be a little easier to do what the other wanted, but he was, and always would be a little hesitant. So even though he was good, Mattie always told him he could be better.
He nodded, though he knew the other couldn't really see him. He just picked it up from the next verse. "You said, between your smiles and regrets: "Don't say it's over." Dead and gone. Dead and gone. Calm before the storm set it off, and the sun burnt out tonight. A reception less than warm set it off, and the sun burnt out tonight." He tried to put a little more into the song, he did. His words were meaningful, he'd been told that all his life, but he just wasn't feeling them at the moment. He didn't know why.

Mattie could clearly see that. He listened to him as he fixed what he needed, nodding and telling him that it was much better now. He'd coached Jared since he was a little boy, singing to him in turn, showing him what could be done. Yeah they sung different songs, but that didn't matter. Mattie could sing what Jared could, just picked not to most of the time.
He listened to the next verse and could tell that he wasn't fully in it. He sighed softly and told him to do it one more time, just a little more feeling this time. He was doing good, of course he was. Music, you had to feel it. He told him he could be better so that he'd build on it, not get too self- assured. Like all the other ones did. So his Jared would progress farther.

Her boyfriend was practicing his singing and she was a little more then bored right now. So she just opened the door, and just like a dancer, stalked over to him more or less silently. She waited a moment, checking around. Only Jared in here. The curtain was closed. Oh this gave her a brilliant little idea.
Erica slid close to Jared and nibbled on his ear, popped the button on his pants and slid her hand right in them. Of course it would mess up his singing, but that was okay. She'd been needing something to do anyway. So why not do her boyfriend. Her hand worked him, and she nibbled down his neck. "Mm, hello, I've come to listen to you."

Jared wasn't sure why he wasn't in it, he really didn't. He wanted to make it easier for Mattie, wanted to be able to sing to him like he'd used to. But his voice was stuck, it seemed, and nothing lately had managed to fix that. He apologized, after every class, because it had to get annoying for his old friend, but for some reason it just never seemed to bother Mattie. Why, he had no clue.
He took a deep breath and started it again, getting just a little bit into the verse before he realized she was there. He jumped a bit, wondering what the hell she was doing in here before he realized just what the hell she was doing in here. His breath hitched on the words, a sharp intake of breath, and a little gasp passed his lips when she nibbled down his neck. "Erica." He hissed.

Mattie had heard all of it and his eyes widened, only to narrow. He pushed the button for the curtains and was met with a sight he wasn't fond of. The little harlot with her hand somewhere it shouldn't be. He groaned and rolled his eyes. Then pushed the button to talk to the entire room. "Shouldn't you be in class Ms. Daniels? Not molesting my students?"
His tone was acid, and only she'd realize it. She was interrupting their practice with her perfect little smile, and body and her harlotness. God did he hate her. What Jared saw in the little witch was a wonder to him. "Please leave. You can bother him later. For the momen he's mine. He's trying to work on something, something that doesn't involve the current round of sounds."

She giggled in his ear and traced her tongue up and down the love, nipping a bit and let her eyes trail to Matthew. Her boyfriends, stick up his ass teacher. "I believe that he needs a break, say oh. The rest of the day." Her eyes flashed and she sent him a smile, one that had her intentions with her boyfriend written all over it. Which only made Matt growl more it seemed.
Apparently he was trying to keep himself composed before Jared. "I think I'll stay. I came to hear him anyway." She slid her other hand to Jared's face and turned his head, kissing him deeply. "Mm. Give Jared a little pick me up. Wouldn't that be nice Mr. Devlin. Encourage your student." She tugged Jared again. "I thought they added to the song." Her voice was dripping with hidden meaning and yet innocence. "Didn't you? I mean was I wrong to think they added a little.." Her hand slid further down his pants, rubbing him even more. "Something to it."

Jared couldn't do too much, though he sent Mattie almost helpless and apologetic eyes when he opened the curtains. He had a feeling that Mattie didn't like her, okay, he knew he didn't like her, but he couldn't help it. She got him. She really did. And that was more than many people could lay claim to. He could call her up when he couldn't sleep, and she would talk to him, or come over. Little things no one before her had done.
He groaned softly at her actions, hips jerking into her hand. He wasn't too sure how he always seemed to get molested, especially in public or semi-public places, but his girlfriend did know how to touch him to quiet those thoughts that said to stop. He kissed her back, nipping at her bottom lip, his own parting sweetly when her hand slipped down a little more. "God..."

Mattie growled under his breath, shooting Erica a look of pure disgust. To which she merely ignored and continued petting Jared. He saw the eyes and shook his head, standing up and leaning closer to the glass, glaring at her. "You obviously don't know the meaning of working on something Ms. Daniels. I know full well that you have a rehearsal right now as well. Why aren't you there." He made sure to keep in contact with the other teachers.
Especially hers. He watched her motions and sighed heavily, pushing the button again. "No. I'm afraid I don't think they added to it. I'm afraid I also don't enjoy your hand down his pants as much as you or he might." He rubbed the bridge of his nose and frowned. "Jared. Fifteen minutes, take a break. Ms. Daniels. Go back to class."

She sent him an innocent look at the mention of her rehearsal. "I went early sir. Total disrespect coated just for Matt to hear. She knew he would too. He never missed a thing when it came to her. She turned back to Jared, smiling at the nip and pressed herself closer to him. "You need to stop working so hard. All work and no play makes for a very dull Jared."
Erica's eyes sparkled a little more as she slid a teasing finger over his entrance, rolling him in her hand and really kissing him again, ignoring Matt completely. "Now doesn't a break sound nice. Come on, we'll help you sing alright." She slid her hand from his pants, holding it up, nice a sticky for Matt to see. Then cleaned off each of his fingers, noting the way that his eyes flashed at seeing it.

Jared closed his eyes a little at her actions, kissing her back, one hand coming around her waist and pulling her closer. He heard the break, and smiled a bit. He knew what he'd be doing in said break. Mattie had to know better than that, she wasn't going to go back to class. This was Erica, he personally thought she lived to piss off his Mattie. He was going to have to talk to her about that.
Now sounded good, too. He bit his bottom lip, looking between the two of them, at Mattie's not so happy face, and Erica's smirk. He took a little step back from her. "But I have to. Mattie's here to help me, and if I want to get anything done, it's got to be on his schedule and not yours or mine." He gave her an apologetic smile. "I'll make it up to you, love."

Mattie just watched him, frowning entirely. His eyes narrowed a bit at her comment about going early and he pressed that little button again. “Then I'm sure you should be dancing across a practice room or doing something constructive.” Molesting Jared was not, NOT constructive. At least not when he was around.
He watched her lick off his fingers and his eyes did flash. But not just for the reason she thought they did. He wanted to be the one to taste Jared, the one in their giving him that little break. More then anything though he hated that little harlot. She lived to apparently make his life miserable. So far she was doing a good job, because it was her that Jared was calling love. He watched when Jared back away from her, it turning up into a little smirk that he put under control a second later.
Oh this was good. He could hear the horror in her voice, see the shock on her face and feel that anger towards him seeping from her. Now that was more like it. “Is that your answer, can we get back to work and Miss. Daniels heads back to class?”

Erica stayed close, enjoying it until the very moment that he pulled away from her. She gasped, actions stopping instantly to look at him in pure shock. He was.. turning her down? She'd come all the way here for him, and he would rather sing then do something much more enjoyable? The surprise was written all over her face and she knew that Matt was smirking.
“He just said you could have a break! He wouldn't have said it if he didn't think you wouldn't come back. Jared..” She whined at him a little, slipping her arms around his neck and kissing him. “Just come with me. You wont have to make it up to me if you come with me now.” She turned to glare at Matt, who merely Smiled and shrugged his shoulders. His voice came over the line and they narrowed even more.

Jared looked back at her evenly. He knew that she wasn't often turned down, and not from him. He didn't like turning her down either, except for tended to pick the worst times ever to try and molest him. Which was exactly why he couldn't let it continue right now. He meant what he said. Mattie was here to teach and help them, and he helped Jared enough out of school that the teenager pretty much figured he owed it to him.
He sighed softly and nuzzled her lips as he held her close. "I'm working. I'll make it up to you. I promise." he gave her a little smile and a kiss to her forehead. "Okay?" He looked over at Matt, and then back to her.
